Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the Cozy Neighbors mobile game and its official information pages. For privacy questions or requests to access, correct, or delete your information, email jhprkdev@gmail.com.

Game progress

The game stores completed puzzles, painted cells, undo history, hint use, homes and decorations, onboarding progress, and sound, vibration, and motion settings in the app's storage on your device. This lets you continue playing and keeps your settings. The game does not send this progress to our server or require a game account.

Progress remains until you delete it or replace it with a new save. Older saves and backups may remain for error recovery. You can remove local progress by clearing app data on Android or deleting the app on iOS. Offloading an iOS app can preserve its data. Operating system cloud backups depend on your device's backup settings and are managed separately.

Optional gameplay analytics

In app versions that support analytics, we use Firebase Analytics only if you allow it. First app opens, visit sessions, engagement time, puzzle starts and completions, stage numbers, board sizes and mechanic types, solving time, hint and reset use, neighbor welcomes, and trail and decorating activity are sent to Google. A random identifier for this app installation, app version, operating system and device information, and approximate region derived from the IP address may also be processed. We use this information to understand engagement and difficulty and improve the game. Names, email addresses, platform player IDs, board contents and home layouts are not sent to analytics.

Collection is off by default. You can play without allowing it and turn it off anytime under Gameplay analytics in Settings. Turning it off stops further collection and resets local analytics data. Previously uploaded information is not immediately deleted and is handled under Google Analytics retention settings and policies. Analytics is not used for ad personalization, and advertising identifier collection is disabled. This feature does not back up game saves to the cloud. Achievements

You can play without connecting a game account. When connected to Apple Game Center or Google Play Games, achievement progress is sent to the platform and linked to your game account. The app stores the platform player identifier locally to prevent progress from being sent to a different account. This identifier and achievement progress are not sent to the advertising SDK or our own server. This feature does not back up puzzle saves or home layouts to the game platform.

Achievements earned offline remain on the device and are retried when the platform connection is available. Clearing app data or deleting the app removes local achievement records. Achievements already sent to Apple or Google may remain in your platform account. Manage those records through the platform's account settings and support. Platform data handling follows Apple's Privacy Policy and Google's Privacy Policy.

Deleting data

You can delete local game progress by clearing app data on Android or deleting the app on iOS. You can also email jhprkdev@gmail.com with a deletion request. We delete the email address and message within 90 days after handling the request, unless a legal retention duty or an ongoing dispute requires limited further retention.

Children and age information

The game does not ask for or save your age, date of birth, or age range. It requests child-friendly, non-personalized ads for all users.

Advertising

Google AdMob interstitial ads may appear between stages. Ads are not shown while solving a puzzle or during the completion animation. If an ad is unavailable, you can continue to the next puzzle.

Ad requests use child-directed treatment, a G content rating, and non-personalized ads. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may process IP addresses, device information and identifiers, ad impressions and interactions, and app or SDK diagnostics to serve ads, operate the service, and prevent abuse. The game does not request your precise GPS location, contacts, photos, or microphone for advertising. It does not send game progress or account information to the ads SDK.

The game does not show an advertising consent screen under its all-ages child-directed ad configuration. For information about Google's retention, international processing, and your rights, see Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Email inquiries

If you contact us, we use your email address and message to reply and resolve the issue. Please do not send passwords or sensitive information. We normally delete inquiry messages within 90 days after closing the request, unless a legal retention duty or ongoing dispute requires limited further retention. Email is sent and received through Gmail.

Website and external services

These information pages have no separate ads, visitor analytics scripts, or account registration. The web host may process connection information, such as IP addresses, to deliver and secure the pages. Operating systems and app stores process their own account, payment, and diagnostic information under their respective policies.

Changes to this policy

If our data handling or service changes, we will update this page and its date, and notify users in the app when needed.
